i have a 9' hardy bamboo fly rod given to me by my grandfather. i would love to know more about this rod if possible.
there is no seriel number on the rod .there is 2 symbols on the real lock and a hardy logo "made by hardy's england". one tip is broken otherwise the rod seems to be in good shape. thanks for your time tony ammon Answer Tony, I can't help you much without a serial number , neither are you going to resale it for much or at all for the same reason.
He has been tying and fishing such flies for many years now. He uses this rod for his home rivers, the Danish Karup and Skjern, hunting for salmon and sea trout.
There are probably few two hand silk lines in stock anywhere.
The line is beautiful and casts like a dream says Niels who has fished it a few times already.
Niels will soon be off to his beloved Surna again to swing his silk line with these beautiful flies in the end over Norwegian salmon.
According to his experience such flies look really good in the water and are surprisingly durable.
